Screen Capture
Screeny's video recording capabilities are amazing. In fact, Screeny can record more frames per second than Apple's QuickTime! Screeny immediately saves down a lossless quality (highest quality available) version of your recorded video. You can then open your video in QuickTime to handle compression for the web, etc. Screeny even has an option to automatically open videos in QuickTime once you stop recording.
Snapping images in Screeny is a breeze. It even supports snapping images across multiple monitors!

Selectable Capture Area
Screeny gives you the freedom to capture your videos or images at any size. You can click & drag to resize the capture area or input the exact pixel dimensions to set to the size of the capture area. All the while you will get instant feedback on the capture area's current pixel dimensions.
Screen casting just got a billion times better with Screeny. Now you can capture a specific portion of your screen, rather than having to record your entire desktop. This can drastically reduce video file size and bring focus to a specific portion of your screen.

Camera Capture
Record videos and snap photos with your built-in or external web-cam! Unlike the standard camera capture in Mac OS, Screeny does NOT produce "mirrored" images or video! In standard Mac OS, if you took a photo of yourself wearing a t-shirt that read "NIKE" the resulting image would show your t-shirt as "NIKE". With Screeny, you'll never have to invert camera images again!
Just like screen captures, photos and video taken with your web-cam can be automatically uploaded to the cloud for quick and easy sharing.

Simple Controls
Screeny has a very simple control panel that allows you to set the size of your capture area, snap an image or record a video. Screeny lives in the Menu Bar and you can use the menu options to record or snap images. There are also configureable keyboard shortcuts for all the recording commands.
